Concrete Removal

Sierra Recycling and Demolition removed the associated concrete pads from an Out of Service Equipment demo. Once the out of service equipment was removed and an excavator with shear an excavator with hammer (using an elephant’s foot) was used to break the pads. The pads ranged in size form 12-14 inches thick. A water buffalo was utilized to help eliminate dust. Once the concrete has been broken up, we removed the hammer from the excavator and attached the bucket to load out material into 10 Yard Dump Trucks.  The material was hauled to a reclamation area to run through a concrete grinder and be reused as base.
